1. What is Adult Services?
It includes social work services and other supportive services to help adults aged 18 and older cope with their activities of daily living.

2. What kind of services do you provide?
We provide services to adults with medical and psychological disabilities who are having difficulty coping with the routine of life. The kind of services provided are: social work case management including assessment of strengths and needs, home health aides to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing and chores, housing services in order to prevent homelessness, mental health case management, information and linkage to community resources.

3. Who is eligible?
An adult who is over 18, a county resident, and in need of the services above. Clients may be asked for verification of need in order to receive services.

4. How do you apply?
Call Adult Services intake at 301-600-2635 between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30, or fax to 301-600-2639

Some services may have a sliding scale fee based on income and/or assets.
